Today is yesterday's dream and the beginning of tomorrow's potential…

World Wildlife Fund

For more than half a century, WWF has worked to find innovative solutions that meet the needs of both people and nature. It’s a big job. And no one person or organization can do it alone. But together we can. Working with communities, government, businesses and individuals, we can protect life on this planet, including our own.

Check out this amazing website about the damage that 1 piece of rubbish can do and how we can start making a difference right now!

Ice-bucket Challenge

Thank you to everyone who came and saw the drama performance in the Hall on Thursday night. Everyone did an amazing job remembering their lines, getting the props in order, timing the dance moves perfectly and getting the songs out to the audience!

A BIG thank you to all the amazing teachers who put in so much hard work to make the night such a great success. Thank you also to the audience who was so attentive and supportive to all of our performers.

A huge thank you to the lovely TLC Volunteers who where challenged by Mrs Payne to sell all the drinks. Due to their incredible efforts and the generosity of the crowd Mrs Payne had to do the ice-bucket challenge for TLC!

Can Collection

As we get closer and closer to Chritsmas we realise what a busy time of year it is. And although it is a happy time for many families there are people in our community who need some support this Christmas. That is why we have been collecting cans across all our classes in our school to donate to the Exodus Foundation.

Who do you think has collected the most?

Post your guess below!

Pioneers in Philathropy Launch

Congratulations to Lyndell, Fausita, Daniel and Martin who where our school representatives at the Pioneers in Philanthropy Launch at the State Library. These students represented our school with fantastic enthusiasm and showed all the thing that we do at TLC to lots of business leaders, politicians and news reporters! They are to be congratulated on their great explanations, wonderful manners and positive attitude through-out the day. Even Mr Gonski said how amazing they did. Can you spot him in the photos?

Tell them how proud you are of them and ask them questions about their experience by posting a comment below.
